Arsenal and Chelsea are ready for another battle for London, because these two teams are about to face each other at the Emirates Stadium in the capital of England.
Both teams are currently placed among the first five teams in the league, with each one of them having won 10 points so far from the first five games. Chelsea is the team who started better the new campaign, winning three consecutive games in the Premier League, but Antonio Conte’s boys won just one point from their last two games against Swansea and Liverpool.
Arsenal’s performance is entirely different than Chelsea’s since the start of the new season. The Gunners started badly in the first two games, but now they have recorded three consecutive wins, which guaranteed them a position among the Top 4 of the Premier League.
Last season Chelsea won both of the Premier League games against Arsenal, with the Gunners winning the Community Shield clash before the start of the campaign. The last time Arsenal beat Chelsea in the Premier League was in October 2011, when The Gunners scored five times at the Stamford Bridge for an exciting 3-5 win over The Blues. Arsenal fans still remember what happened on March 22 2014 though, when Chelsea humilated Arsene Wenger’s team, scoring six times for a historical 6-0 win at the Bridge.
Diego Costa is the man to watch in Chelsea’s squad at the moment. The Spanish international has scored five goals since the start of the new season in the Premier League, showing some great effiency in the box. Arsenal are going to rely once again on their Chilean star Alexis Sanchez, who is currently the team’s topscorer with three goals on his name so far.
Prediction: Arsenal is obviously the team in a better form at the moment. Chelsea lost at home against Liverpool last week, which showed to us that Antonio Conte still has a lot of work to do. Maybe it’s wisely to avoid picking a winner in this game, with both teams to score being a far more logical bet for this London derby.
